Why Early Childhood Enrichment Matters
In today's digital age, research is showing a concerning trend: children’s cognitive, motor, and emotional development is slowing due to increased exposure to screens and reduced face-to-face interaction—particularly in households where parents have demanding work schedules. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, children under the age of two should have minimal screen time, as their brains develop rapidly during this period and need direct human interaction to grow effectively.
Studies show that 90% of a child’s brain development happens before the age of 5, with the most critical period for developing the left and right hemispheres occurring between birth and 4 years old. During these formative years, children build the foundational skills for communication, emotional regulation, social confidence, and problem-solving.
When this development is delayed—whether due to lack of stimulation, limited caregiver interaction, or overuse of electronics—it can have long-term impacts on academic success, social adaptability, and even mental health. That’s why we’ve designed Melly Me & Friends not just to entertain, but to equip children with essential life tools that support their future—whether that’s confidence in a university interview or resilience in emotional development.

Melly Me Kids provides music, movement, sensory, creative and educational experiences for babies, toddlers, children and their parents or guardians through classes, workshops, events and digital content.

By using this website or booking any service with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. BOOKINGS
All classes, workshops and services must be booked in advance through our website or approved booking platform.
A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received and a confirmation email has been issued.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion.
2. PAYMENTS
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.
Melly Me Kids does not store full card payment details on its servers.
Prices may change at any time without notice.
All payments are made in euro unless otherwise stated.
Where a refund is approved for a payment made online by debit or credit card, the refund will be processed only to the same card and payment method originally used for the transaction.
3. TRIAL CLASSES
Trial classes may be offered subject to availability.
Trial bookings are limited to one per child unless otherwise agreed.
Trial bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
4. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
4.1 Customer Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled class may receive either:
- a class credit, or
- transfer to another available session.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a class are non-refundable.
No-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If a parent or child cannot attend due to illness, we will try where possible to offer an alternative session, but this is not guaranteed.
Missed classes due to holidays, schedule conflicts or personal circumstances are non-refundable.
4.2 Refunds
Where a refund is approved for a payment made online by debit or credit card, the refund will be processed only to the same card and payment method originally used for the transaction.
Approved refunds may take several business days to appear, depending on the customer’s bank or card provider.
4.3 Melly Me Kids Cancellations
If Melly Me Kids needs to cancel a class due to illness, venue issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control, we may:
- offer a replacement class,
- provide class credit,
- move the session online,
- or issue a refund where appropriate.
We are not liable for indirect costs including travel, parking or accommodation.
6. HEALTH & SAFETY
Parents or guardians remain fully responsible for their child at all times during classes.
Please do not attend classes if you or your child:
- have sickness or diarrhoea within the last 48 hours,
- have a contagious illness,
- or are medically unfit to participate.
You agree to inform us of any medical conditions, allergies or additional support needs before attending classes.
Participation is at your own risk.
7. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO
From time to time we may take photographs or videos during classes or events for promotional purposes.
We will always seek consent before using identifiable images of children for marketing or social media.
Parents may opt out at any time by emailing us.
8. ONLINE CONTENT
Any online videos, downloads or digital content provided by Melly Me Kids are for personal use only.
They may not be copied, redistributed, recorded or resold.
9. LIABILITY
While we take all reasonable care to provide safe and enjoyable classes, Melly Me Kids shall not be held responsible for:
- injuries caused by failure to follow instructions,
- loss or damage to personal belongings,
- or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All branding, class concepts, videos, graphics, music, logos and written materials remain the property of Melly Me Kids unless otherwise stated.
No material may be copied or reproduced without written permission.
11. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated versions will be published on our website.
